Fresh off the back of a stormer from Canadian heavyweight Distinct Motive, and an outrageous collaboration between Hella & Logan; London-based imprint Sub Merchants tag in the dynamic duo Fearless Dread to finish off the 140bpm beatdown, with their latest offering - a ‘Sucker Punch’ to your ears.

The final instalment in a trio of monthly singles, ultimately culminating in a 6-track feature-length EP ‘Ridley Road’; ‘Sucker Punch’ delivers an unrelenting torrent of sub-low wobs, interspersed with crisp whip-crack high-hats and eerie synth pads that will leave you in a permanent state of screw-face.

With a nod to the spacey percussive FWD-thinking sounds which inspired the duo’s inception, Fearless Dread deliver yet another unique take on the formative dubstep sound with their signature fresh twist. Their extensive output has gone far from unnoticed by the biggest players across the scene, with the pair landing upcoming summer bookings supporting the likes of Digital Mystikz at FABRICLIVE, and Youngsta at London-based night ‘Frames’.

With another knockout signing, the Sub Merchants crew continue effortlessly in their stride, and demonstrate once again that they are a growing force to be reckoned with in the UK bass music scene.
